Saatchi & Saatchi set the agency's creative teams a "winner takes all" brief to create an innovative way to sell their client's signature dandruff shampoo.
We came up with something that was believed to be quite literally Head & Shoulders above the other concepts. Specially modified photo-booths were stationed in concourses around the country. Not only did customers get the mug shot they were expecting, they were also presented with an image of the top of their heads taken by a hidden top-shot camera. The image was of course peppered with an attractive helping of dandruff.
